Create an entranceway (one block wide and two tall).

Make sure you have plenty of space behind it to build a Redstone mechanism and a room to hide your goods. Place some torches on the walls for light if you need it.
Enter your secret room and turn around to face the exit.
On one side of the exit, leave an empty space, then put down 2 Sticky Pistons side-by-side perpendicular to the door wall.
Place 2 more Sticky Pistons atop the others to form a 4X4 structure.
